Order Information

Order Turn Around Time
Orders are normally processed on the business day they are received. Tool-Boxes will notify you if your shipment will be delayed for any reason.

Product Quality
At Tool-Boxes we take pride in ensuring that you receive a high quality product at your doorstep. Every product we ship is hand inspected and packed in a secure high quality box. If for any reason you receive a damaged product please return it immediately so that a refund can be issued or a replacement can be shipped. We are experts in the products we stock and if you have any product related questions don’t hesitate to send us an email.

Order Cancelation
An order cancellation request should be received via email within 12 hours of placement. Please write your full name and order number in the body of the text and put “order cancellation request” in the header. Send to admin@tool-boxes.net. If your order has already been shipped you will be responsible for the shipping fees.

Order Status
You can visit your account page for your order status.

Out-of-Stock Availability
We are unable to provide information for when out-of-stock products will be available.

Product Out-of-Stock
If an out-of-stock or back-order situation arises, we advise the customer as soon as possible and refund the transaction.

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. You can use American Express and Discover through PayPal.

If Your Credit Card is Declined
Please check the following:
 * that the number and expiration date are correct
 * that the billing address you provide is the one that your financial institute has on record.
If everything is correct, and your card is still declined, please contact the institution that issues your card.

International Credit Cards
We only accept American and Canadian credit cards.

Shipping Information

Shipping Address vs. Billing Address
We do allow you to ship to a different address other than your billing address. However, your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.

Shipping Charges & Regions
All products are shipped using UPS, USPS, or FedEx ground. Please call for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. Sorry, but we are currently unable to ship to international, APO or FPO addresses at this time.
 C.O.D. and P.O. Boxes
We do not ship COD and cannot mail to P.O. Boxes. A physical street address will be required for delivery. 

Order Timing
You should expect your order to arrive within 9 to 14 business days (if not sooner). 

Tracking Numbers
For most orders, when the tracking number is available, you will be able to view it by viewing the order history on your account page.
Some shipments coming into Canada from the U.S. will not have a tracking number available. In addition, some United States Postal Service shipments do not have tracking numbers.
If the tracking number you were issued is not working please contact us immediately.

International, APO, and FPO Shipping
Sorry, but we are currently unable to ship to international, APO or FPO addresses at this time.

Purchases Technical Support
The product manufacturer is the best resource for assistance with your purchased item.

Lost Invoices
You can obtain your invoice and other order information by logging into your account and clicking “My Order “. You may click on the order you would like the invoice for and print it out for your records.

Order Problems
If your product is not what you ordered or is defective you may return the product. Please contact us at admin@tool-boxes.net. 
If the problem is a technical problem you are experiencing with the product, contact technical support with the manufacturer.
If your problem is different than any of these, contact us at admin@tool-boxes.net .

Data and Technical Issues
In the event of data or technical issue which results in incorrect information or mispricing of products and services, Tool-Boxes.net is not liable for transactions arising out of this error. If you find an error, please contact us and our team will attempt to fix it as soon as possible.

Returns and Refunds

If you are not fully satisfied within 14 days of the delivery date, please return your order to us. Email our Customer Service department at admin@tool-boxes.net and they will assign to you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) which allows us to keep track of the return.
The returned product must be in new and unused condition, in the original box with all the documentation, parts and accessories to insure full credit. "New and unused" means sale-able condition, not dirty and not washed. We cannot accept returns for an item with any indications that it has been used.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is damaged or defective. All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee and must be returned within 2 weeks (14 days) after receiving the item. If you have any questions about the restocking fee as it pertains to your order please call us before we ship the product as once it leaves the warehouse we have incurred our cost.

Our idea at the start was simple, create a site on something we were passionate about and see if others are interested as well. tool-boxes.net is part of the larger family of tool and home improvement websites. tool-boxes.net started out as a small business experiment in 2004 to provide information about different types of tool boxes. With the success of this site we decided that great sites were not enough, but that we should offer our visitors with a wide range of tool and home improvement products. Since then most of our time is spent scouring the nation for products we think are useful, high in quality and unique, while bargaining for the best prices possible to pass on to our customers.
